After work today, I met up with a friend I hadn't seen in a long while. We went to Sleepless Goat for dinner, and it was fantastic. The food there is always superb. I had a sweet potato salad, green bean/sweet pea salad, lentil roti, and a heavenly hazelnut mousse/meringue for dessert.

Excellent place for both of us, especially since my friend is vegetarian, and I'm part-time vegetarian (personal reasons).

She had the Shepherd's Pie and house salad. Not your typical Shepherd's Pie, mind you. It was made with mashed potatoes, wild rice, lentils, barley & mushrooms!! So good!

The menu also has a moussaka that's meatless, and I definitely want to go back again and try the sweet potato omelette. This place is a favourite restaurant for me and it has a great atmosphere, laid-back and casual.
